Terms and disclosures
Short, plain, and worth reading once. What this work is, what it is not, and what happens to the little this site asks of you.
What this work is
Julie Wright Halbert is a transformational soul coach, a death doula, an end-of-life educator, a speaker, and an author. Soul coaching is companionship and reflection. Death doula work is non-medical support for a person who is dying and for the people around them.
What it is not
It is not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, clinical social work, or marriage and family therapy, and it is not medical, nursing, or hospice care. Julie holds no license in any of those and does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Julie does not practice law through Rising Phoenix LIFE, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
None of it replaces care from a licensed professional, and Julie will say so herself if that is what you need. If you are in crisis, please call your doctor or your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988.
The words from clients
The testimonials on this site are real, unpaid, and quoted as the people who wrote them wrote them. Each one describes one person's own experience. Nothing about them is a promise of what anyone else will find, and what you find will be your own.
Your email address
If you give us your address it is used to write to you about Julie's work, her events, and the book, and nothing else. It is not sold or rented. Every message carries a way to stop, and you can write to us at any time and ask to be removed.
Julie's words
The writing, recordings, and meditations on this site belong to Julie Wright Halbert. Quoting a line and pointing back here is welcome. Republishing or selling them is not.
